Trucking Insurance Provided by SOLANO CONSULTANTS.

Does your company make use of commercial trucks? If so, you may need to consider commercial trucking insurance, which covers more risks than your typical auto insurance would. Moving people and things from one place to another can get complicated. What you transport, where it goes, how it gets there, and other factors are just the tip of the iceberg.

It's time to start protecting your business by getting trucking insurance.

Bigger risks require broader coverage.

Compared with ordinary auto insurance, commercial trucking insurance needs to cover not just bigger risks, but a wider range of risks.
The potential costs of damage to property and medical bills are higher simply because a truck can have a bigger impact in a collision. Meanwhile, you’ll also need to be covered for the potential loss of, or damage to, cargo. Having proper business auto insurance is the first step to a comprehensive insurance program. For businesses with a large number of vehicles, fleet insurance might be a better option.

Insurance unique to your trucking operations.

The principles behind commercial truck policies are simple enough, but be prepared to answer a lot of people you have operating the trucks…..
the type of cargo they carry, and the expected mileage during the year. Your coverage needs could also change depending on whether you cross borders into other jurisdictions..

You have different insurance needs depending on what you transport.

What you transport matters and the type of transportation insurance you need should respond to that risk For example, trucks……
carrying high-value items are at higher risk for cargo theft. If you’re transporting people, in a chartered bus, limousine, or school bus, your liability insurance needs to cover you in the event of an accident or personal injury. If you’re transporting pets or livestock, you’ll want your policy to reflect that as well..
